The Canadian Geriatrics Society is one of the main providers of continuing
education in geriatrics in Canada, both at the family physician and
specialist level. Our annual meeting is always well attended and well
received. We also co-sponsor other events throughout the year. For
awarding of MainCert credits from the Royal College we require that a member
of the CGS is on the planning committee of any co-sponsored event. Members
of the education committee are usually available (see list below). Program
literature should acknowledge co-sponsorship with the CGS as well as
availability of credits from the Royal College.
